Blocky is a simple platformer game, the player is a ball that can jump and move around. The goal is to reach the end of the level as quick as possible. In the levels there are doors (green blocks) and keys (yellow blocks), a door will dissapear if the corresponding key has been picked up, this adds a fun and simple puzzle element to the game. This game is a must play.
Something bad happened and you are the only one who can save your beloved.
The people you once trusted are not who you thought they were, and now you want revenge on what they have done to you and many others.

For a long time I've been wondering if it's possible to create interesting, natural looking, procedurally generated terrain in a 2D bird's-eye view game.
Of course it's possible but the world also needs to be playable.
The player has to be able to find it's path without mountains and trees blocking his view.
And that's why I'm working on this project now, I want to figure out if I can make a game that's fun to play with interesting, natural looking, procedurally generated terrain in a 2D bird's-eye view.
